Welcome to Grip, (DBA Credit Edge), a platform designed to help users aggregate auto data and access important financial information about their vehicles. By using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which outline the scope of the services we provide, the data we collect, how we protect it, and your rights as a user.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you should not use our services.

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Grip platform, including any associated software, mobile applications, services, and data provided (collectively referred to as the "Services"). By accessing or using Grip, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Data Collection and Consent

As part of our services, we collect and process certain personal information, including but not limited to:

  • Your credit information (via a soft credit pull),

  • Car valuation data (including details about the make, model, year, and current market value),

  • Additional personal and financial information you voluntarily provide, including but not limited to income, loan details, and related data.

By using our services, you explicitly agree to:

  1. Consent to the soft pull of your credit report. Soft credit inquiries will not impact your credit score but are used to verify your identity and provide accurate financial insights.

  2. Consent to the retrieval and use of car valuation data, which includes vehicle information sourced from third-party databases to provide accurate market valuations.

Grip is committed to using your data in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including those governing credit reporting and consumer privacy.

3. Soft Credit Pull Disclaimer

We perform soft credit pulls to obtain credit-related information, which helps us assess your financial situation for the purpose of offering auto loan insights and vehicle data. This soft pull will not affect your credit score. However, you understand and agree that:

  • You are providing explicit consent for us to perform a soft inquiry on your credit report.

  • The credit report information retrieved is limited in scope and used solely for providing the services offered by Grip.

4. Car Valuation Data

We use your vehicle information to retrieve market valuation data from third-party sources to provide you with up-to-date and accurate insights about the value of your car. While we strive for accuracy, market fluctuations and data variances may result in slightly different valuations. You agree that:

  • We are not liable for any discrepancies in the car valuation data provided.

  • You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any information before making financial decisions based on the valuation data.

5. Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy outlines how we handle and protect your personal information, including credit and vehicle data. By using our Services, you agree to the collection, use, and sharing of your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We take your privacy seriously and employ industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

6. No Liability for Third-Party Information

Our platform may use third-party databases, services, or APIs to retrieve credit and car valuation data. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies or issues that arise from third-party information. You understand and agree that:

  • Any information retrieved from third-party sources is provided "as is" and without any warranties of accuracy.

  • We are not liable for any decisions you make based on third-party data.

7. Use of Services

Your use of the Services is for personal and non-commercial purposes only. You may not resell, sublicense, or otherwise distribute our services or the data we provide without prior written consent.

You agree to use the Services in a manner that is legal, ethical, and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to those related to data privacy, credit reporting, and consumer protection.

8. Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Grip and its owners, officers, employees, or partners are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Your use of our Services,

  • Any inaccuracies or omissions in the data we provide,

  • Any unauthorized access or use of our platform.

Grip provides its Services "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy or completeness of the information provided.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Grip and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

  • Your breach of these Terms,

  • Your use of the Services,

  • Any legal claims or actions brought against Grip related to your use of the Services.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. It is your responsibility to regularly check these Terms for updates. Your continued use of our Services after the posting of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be filed exclusively in the courts of Delaware, USA.

13. Electronic Disclosures and Consent

Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act

Introduction: You are submitting a request for a loan pre-qualification, a loan application or form through us (hereinafter, a "Request"). We can only give you the benefits of our service by conducting our business through the Internet. In order to do this, we need you to consent to our giving you certain Disclosures electronically. This document informs you of your rights when receiving legally required disclosures, notices and information ("Disclosures") from us and Grip Intelligence Request is submitted. By consenting, you acknowledge receipt of this document and agree to receive all Disclosures required by law solely in electronic form. The electronic delivery of such Disclosures.

Electronic Communications: Any Disclosures related to your Request will be provided to you electronically through our technology provider, Grip Intelligence. However, if you wish to obtain a paper copy of any of the Disclosures, you may write to us at: info@gripintelligence.com with the details of your request. Paper copies will be provided to you at no charge.

Consenting to Do Business Electronically: Before you decide to do business electronically with us, you should consider whether you have the required hardware and software capabilities described below.

Scope of Consent: Your consent to receive Disclosures and to do business electronically, and our agreement to do so, only applies to this Request. You will receive Disclosures from us and our technology provider, Grip Intelligence. If you choose to apply for other products or services through us, you may be required to consent to additional Disclosures electronically.

Hardware and Software Requirements: To access and retain the Disclosures electronically, you will need to use the following computer software and hardware: Internet Explorer 11 or Edge, Firefox, Chrome and Safari. or equivalent software; and hardware capable of running this software. If we revise the software or hardware requirements necessary to access and retain the Disclosures electronically within 30 days of our initial Disclosures to you, we will advise you of the new requirements.

Withdrawing Consent: Because we will provide the Disclosures to you instantaneously, you will not be able to withdraw your consent to do business electronically with us. However, you may withdraw your consent to do business electronically with our participating Lenders at no cost to you. You may do so by contacting the Lender at the mailing address, e-mail address or telephone number they provide with their offer. If you decide to withdraw your consent, the legal validity and enforceability of prior electronic Disclosures will not be affected.

Changes to Your Contact Information: You should keep us informed of any change in your electronic or mailing address. You may contact Customer Care by email at info@gripintelligence.com regarding any such changes.

Your Ability to Access Disclosures: By completing and submitting your request, you acknowledge that you can access the electronic disclosures in the designated formats described above.

Consent: By completing and submitting your request, you consent to having all disclosures provided or made available to you in electronic form and to doing business with us electronically.

You understand that by clicking the I Agree Checkbox and Submit, you acknowledge having read Grip Intelligence's Privacy Policy Notice and you are providing 'written instructions' to Grip Intelligence under the Fair Credit Reporting Act to have Grip Intelligence have my credit file accessed for purposes of prequalifying for a loan. You authorize Grip Intelligence to obtain such information solely to conduct a prequalification for credit. Also, you authorize Grip Intelligence to share the information provided in this application to affiliated third parties for possible financing options.

By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
